Weather for your holiday in South Tyrol
A transient ridge of high pressure will determine the weather in South Tyrol, accompanied by a temporary northerly föhn.
Residual cloud along the main Alpine ridge will break up, and sunny conditions will become established across the entire region. In some valleys, gusty and cold northerly föhn winds will be blowing.
During the afternoon, temperatures will rise to −2° in the upper Puster Valley and up to +7° in the southern valleys.
A warm front will be steered towards the Alps by a northwesterly upper-level flow.
Clouds will dominate across South Tyrol, and along the border with North Tyrol there may be occasional light snowfall. The most favourable conditions, with some sunshine, are expected in the southern parts of the region.
After a very frosty morning, afternoon temperatures will range from −1° in Bruneck to +4° in Bozen and Meran.
