With a weak south-westerly upper-level flow, the alpine region will remain within a warm and unstable air mass.
The morning will bring a pleasant mix of sunshine and clouds, although an isolated shower is already possible. In the afternoon, the growing cumulus clouds will once again give rise to a few thunderstorms.
The maximum temperatures range from 29° in the Wipptal to 35° in the Unterland.
A cold front is reaching the Alps and will move across South Tyrol during the course of the day.
It will be sunny to begin with, but cloud cover will increase from the Vinschgau valley in the late morning, and in the afternoon there will be thunderstorms, some of which may be heavy. At the same time, a gusty northerly wind will pick up.
Temperatures are falling, with highs ranging from 23° in the Wipptal to 30° in the Unterland.
