It is immersed in the nature of South Tyrol, among the apple orchards, the peaks and the woods of the Val Venosta.
It is brought to life by a team of great experience, expertise and authenticity, personally selected and guided over time by Patrizia Bortolin, Wellness & Spa Concept Designer.
At its heart lies a philosophy of authentic, sustainable wellbeing, one that balances hedonic and eudaimonic wellness: the pleasure of feeling well and living fulfilling experiences meets the pursuit of a more conscious wellbeing, rooted in meaning, awareness and personal fulfilment.
A philosophy that answers the human desire to experience both enthusiasm and serenity, and that guides every experience at the resort.
A philosophy that has been nurtured over the years by the vision of the Ladurner family, who have always believed in the value of investing in wellbeing.
It is this vision that shapes the Transformational Alpine Wellness Retreats signed The Preidlhof Way.

A vision that evolves
Since 2019, Patrizia Bortolin has inspired and guided the evolution of the holistic philosophy that today underpins Preidlhof's wellness experience. A firm believer in the Italian Wellbeing Style and the ethics of Made in Italy, she has always placed a clear goal at the heart of her work: helping people develop more authentic and meaningful connections with themselves, with others and with the places they pass through.
The result of seven years of research, innovation and continuous evolution, the new spa, set to open in February 2027, marks a new chapter in The Preidlhof Way.
It doesn't change its soul. It carries it into a new dimension.
It brings together, in a single space, the people, experiences and visions that have helped shape Preidlhof's unique approach to transformational wellness.
People like Sabrina and Alessandra, Spa Managers at Preidlhof Spa and cherished custodians of the The Preidlhof Way philosophy, who for years have helped bring it to life every day and contribute to Preidlhof Spa’s journey towards this new, important milestone.
At the heart of the experience are the Transformational Alpine Wellness Retreats. Through an intuitive approach that creates a harmonious balance between science, ancient wellness traditions, pleasure and authentic human connection, and thanks to the work of an exceptional, multigenerational team of therapists and healers, Preidlhof has established itself as an international destination for transformational wellness.
The new spa was born with this very intention: to create a space that helps guests restore their energy, gain greater clarity, reconnect with themselves and create the conditions for lasting wellbeing.
A space to pause and listen.
To reflect and restore.
To let go of what no longer serves and open to new possibilities.
A space devoted to the full flourishing of the individual.
From philosophy to experience
I enter the water slowly and feel my body change weight.
The water holds me, wraps around me and helps me let go. There's no need to control my posture or search for a position: I simply float and surrender to the movement.
The therapist begins to guide my body with slow, fluid gestures. Carried by the water and by their hands, I am not moving myself, yet I am not entirely still either. I am suspended, held. I slowly feel the tension dissolve, my breathing grows deeper, my thoughts become less intrusive, and my body lose that almost constant rigidity.
The water caresses and carries away. It invites listening. And it reminds me that, sometimes, finding balance doesn't require doing more: it simply means letting go and surrendering.
Preidlhof's Water Healing Massage is one of the key treatments of the Glowing Flow Immersive Retreat, co-created and led by Patrizia Bortolin and Stefano Battaglia, holistic master, Trauma Therapist and internationally renowned meditation teacher, available exclusively at Preidlhof.
An immersive journey designed to help guests give new meaning to past experiences, shape their vision of the future with greater awareness, and rediscover the joy of an inner journey that, when shared, can become an even more intimate connection with themselves and with others.
It is one of nine Transformational Alpine Wellness Retreats with a Mediterranean soul: deeply integrative journeys that weave together neuroscience, sensory immersion, complementary medicine, ancient healing traditions and authentic human connection.

All of it carried by an unmistakably Mediterranean touch: the pursuit of beauty and lightness, the pleasure of play and enjoyment, the ability to live fully in the present and savour life in all its wonderful richness.
Transformation, with lightness
This is the essence of The Preidlhof Way: the ability to bring together depth and pleasure, introspection and lightness, science and ancient traditions, body and mind.
An approach to wellbeing that doesn't ask you to escape to the other side of the world or to withdraw from life, but to live with greater awareness and curiosity.
Because transforming often doesn't mean becoming someone else, but simply returning to yourself, rediscovering the space to listen, feel and live more fully.
This is the promise of Preidlhof's Transformational Alpine Wellness Retreats: a transformative journey toward caring for yourself and your own wellbeing, remembering that, even when the path runs deep, life always remains something to savour.
